Yesterday a special little man and I worked together to make these "Teal Lotus" cupcakes for someone we love so very much.

Today September 30th is "Teal Lotus Awareness Day"  In America every two minutes someone is being sexually assaulted, one in every three girls and one in every six boys will be sexually abused before their eighteenth birthday.  You think that it is not happening in your area or don't think you know anyone that fits this statistic-but that is not the case.  The Teal Lotus Project is based on spreading awareness but also a wonderful place for resources.

I am so thankful for Tasia being a part of my life and so blessed to call her my friend.  My prayer is that more and more people become aware of her misson.

So one would think that I have slept in the kitchen since returning from our vaca...right after getting home I catered for a quilter's bus tour.  Mom and I made 260 Moster Cookies, than I made Breakfast Muffins, Turkey 'n' Swiss Wrap and Chicken Club Wrap.  Everything was so yummy and it sounds like the food was a big hit!!!

As I was making the Muffins my family were less than impressed that they were not allowed one...not often do I ever make something they cannot eat.  So this morning I thought I would get them some muffins made.  Snack is done!

We are home from our big trip and tring to get back in the swing of life :)  I hope to get pictures up on my blog soon but at this time I am just adjusting to a new and young daycare.  Loving every minute but WOW it is a huge change from the past few years.  They are keeping me on my toes and young!!!
